Missing Moderators

Just a random check on a couple of mods has shown they both have not posted in over 5 years?

Is this correct, and perhaps time for some revision?

I would be delighted, if some of the 'old moderators' came back, personally

First off: I've not been here for a while, but it's good to see everyone again!!

Secondly: When I was here more often this happened as well -- some of the more active posters started posting less. Added note: I've not contacted anyone because Edwin has asked us not to do so.

Yes, I'd just like to confirm that. There's no minimum participation requirement once people have become moderators. As a team, they do a fantastic job, as I'm sure you'll agree - and that's all that matters in my book, though I am very grateful for the individual contributions each one makes.

You're sure we'll agree because we really agree or because saying otherwise would bring down the fists of wrath?

I can understand not posting to contribute to the discussions of email services, but don't moderators have to OCCASIONALLY post user warnings, corrections, etc. as in, at least one or twice in 5 years?

Suggest you perhaps google this before you post next time?

To make it simpler for you, look at:

http://coronationstreet.wikia.com/wiki/Preston_Guild

And the line therein:

A saying also exists in Lancashire regarding infrequent events that they happen only "once every Preston Guild"

See the connection now??

I understood the reference after going to the site.. But I have to admit, FredOnline, that was a pretty dorky joke.
