Archiving Problem

I noticed when restoring an archive I had made that the dates on the messages are incorrect. What happened was all messages that were from the same sender were given the exact same timestamp. This is just an fyi for everyone else, it's not a big problem for me.

It is more likely that the problem is in the software you use for restoring the archive than with fastmail archiving the messages.

I have archived messages so I checked it out. All messages have a "file" date for the date I ran the archive. After opening one in Outlook Express, it showed the proper date, in the message, for the date it was received. Looks like ivec may be right and it's the email client you're opening the message in.

I am also using OE (not much of a thunderbird fan yet). Anyway, I'm not going to worry about it.
