Labels & the Archive folder
Is there anyway to search the Archive folder to show only mails WITHOUT a Label?
Greatly appreciated, thanks festus |

I believe the search
Code:
-has:userlabels -in:inbox -in:sent -in:drafts Code:
in:Archive -has:userlabels Actually, on reflection, it is even easier. In Fastmail unlike most other mail systems, a message cannot be both in the archive and has user defined labels. You just need to look at the messages in the Archive folder! Last edited by BritTim : 5 Jan 2026 at 10:57 PM. Reason: Point out that messages, in Archive on Fastmail, automatically implies they have no labels. |

I wanted to use this search term too, but neither option works; it still shows the emails with labels. Am I doing something wrong? Could someone else try this out for me?
BTW, if you?ve set up labels in the FM app, there?s no ?Archive? label (folder) on the left - only ?All mail?. |

I figured it out myself in the end. It?s simple:
Code:
-has:userlabels |
