Now this is the reason z.org is "retired"

We are retiring support for the z.org email address domain and moving accounts to Elektrine-owned addresses.

Elektrine is not the registrant of z.org, and we do not control the domain long-term. Because of that, we cannot continue depending on it for user email addresses.

Your mailbox is not being deleted, but your primary email address will change from:

username@z.org

to:

username@elektrine.com

If you currently use your @z.org address for important accounts, please update those accounts as soon as possible. Prioritize anything that uses email for login, password recovery, two-factor authentication, billing, banking, domains, GitHub, cloud services, job applications, or payment accounts.

Mail sent to your old @z.org address will continue to arrive if technically possible until:

After June 7, 2026, we cannot guarantee that @z.org addresses will continue receiving mail.
