I am considering coming back to runbox/fastmail as I am not too comfortable keeping my data with guys like gmail (specially after reading chrome privacy issues) I was with runbox for 3 year when they had $30 price and left just because of price increase.e
So looking for how many Runbox / fastmail customers we have here on the forum. Please be honest and vote for the service for which you are a paid customer |

Hi,
Both services are not similar and can't be compared too. I voted for FASTMAIL |

Fastmail.
But be aware of one major drawback of Fastmail: no search across folders. |

I'm another FM user. As a former Runbox user you probably know a lot of their features and can check which features have been added since you left them. So I thought I'd give you a link to see the FM features as a comparison. Also, they have a new UI that's now available on the beta server. Hope that helps?

fastmail - ever since I've found out about it on EMD - four years ago. One new feature I really like is their one-time password login.

I am not comparing or looking at features they provide. I am well aware of that fact. I am trying get an estimate on how many members of the forum are actually paid members of these two services.
Hope I am clear now ![]() |

Definitely FastMail. Only + for Runbox is their webhosting (if you need it). And yes I'm a paid member.

I do not know much about statistics, but I doubt you get the right estimate. There are many more Fastmail users active on these forums than Runbox users, thus FM will always 'win'.

This is true, and reflected in the current poll standings of 21-2 in favour of FM.

Yep. It seems pretty obvious just from the relative activity level of their respective forums here that fastmail was an easily predictable "winner", whatever relevance the results of such a poll in these obviously fastmail-biased forums may have.
