Tuesday ..... still not working ..... 2 more days, and I believe Phatcom may very well be written-off as dead for good.

1 full week should be long enough to fix any problems that they may have.

Dead for 1 week, dead for good

Well, Phatcom mail has been down for 7 days.

Anybody has any news ? Or is it time to declare Phatcom dead permanently ?

In my experience, any service that has been down for an extended period and does come back, will eventually die anyways.

eg ...
newmail.com
subdimension.com

I agree with you 100% CyberSmurf. Newmail.com came back and erased the user database so all usernames werent taken. And now if you try to go to newmail.com you will get a domain hosting site?

I wished I could buy that domain, I would make it work.

I thought Phatcom was gone for good, but for some reason I checked it out today and it is back. I didn't see any explanation for the long absence.

<edit - deleted previous comment>

(silly me, webmail requires the full e-mail address while the phatcom.net site just requires your user name)

Let's hope phatcom.net is the exception.

Yep, it seems to be gone again. That didn't last long.
