mailbox.org Tech Support does not exist. Do not use the service for important things

I created support ticket two days ago (some technical issue, clear bug) and no response since then.

I suggest not to use the service for important things.

That's quite disturbing for a paid service.

For what it's worth, they do have a relatively active subreddit. Maybe some of the moderators there are actual staffmembers?

i've said it many times before: stay away from mailbox.org!

Have you mentioned this 'technical issue' on the mailbox user forum? You may get some useful feedback from there.

Judging from your perceived opinion (as gleaned from some of your previous posts) of the mailbox service, I'm guessing that you haven't actually used it.

.

It is a paid service! Why should I go to user forum? I opened an official support ticket and I expect some reasonable time to be answered. It could take a long time to fix a problem, but to waut for 2 days for the ticket to be answered is not acceptable.

This is an error I get while trying to add external POP3 account: https://i.postimg.cc/yYxTy3xQ/test.jpg

Obviously, user forum will not help here

They don't offer a free service, so I'm guessing that the people partaking in that forum have also paid for the service.

I do not think the forum will be helpful here.

Paid service means some kind of support, not just user forum.

As a test, I added an external pop3 account in mailbox. The account was accepted. However, the automatic checking of that pop3 account didn't occur until 2 hours and 10 minutes after it had been set up.

I've deleted that external account now, as I have no further use for that particular option.

your assumption is wrong. of course I tested the service. technically (except for the issue RFK just mentioned), the service may be okay, but from other points of view, you should definitely avoid mailbox.org!

My 'guess' was based on this post:

I personally would never ever use such a "political motivated" provider for email.
However, if you say that you have tested the service, then I stand corrected.

I've seen your post on another thread:

https://www.emaildiscussions.com/sho...6&postcount=27

Am I right to assume that you were attempting to 'pop' a Gmail account?

If so, this has been mentioned in the mailbox Knowledge Base:

It's unfortunate to see complaints about Mailbox. It's one of the very few recommended by the pickiest reviewers.
