All you need to do is look back to the start of the current sentence & say the phrases-so-far to yourself and then add words that make sense for what's gone before. Your idea of where the story in the sentence is going quite likely won't be the same as other players' ideas - which doesn't matter. But remember that - unless you finish the sentence - the next player has to make some sort of sense of what you added to the phrases so far. The challenge - for us all - is to end up with a quirky / interesting sentence. Even better ... we might manage to create a series of sentences which tell consecutive parts of a short story.
