I do agree to a large extent with what you have said, a lot of SAW music is drivel manufactured to cater for a particular audience at a particular time.

Kim WIlde is another example of this. In my opinion she cannot sing for a toffee but happened to have the right physical attributes (as does Kylie) and the right connections to achieve a moderate degree of success.

I just looked up the 8track for my dan fogelberg record (The innocent age) and they got 1 song repeated!! (Stolen moments)

I dont understand why they had to do that seeing how many songs are on that album,should be enough for all 4 tracks w/o having to repeat one! (I wouldnt like that -- I have a cassettre with a song repeated on side 2 and its stupid-- Why just not leave extra blank space at the end of side 2???)
