1) Computers -- I'm a programmer so I literally cannot live without them. 2) Had to bring my car to the shop today -- really showed me how much of a hassle it is not to have a car and how much of an important invention it is. Quote:

Well what about an ordinary Bicycle? Rollators, Walkers? chair with small wheels to use for walking?
Shoes to have on my feets. Even such simple things as a Safety Pin? MP3 memorystics with built in FMradio recordable is a really good thing while travelling. |

Hmm.. good question.
Taking 'cannot live without' literally I end up with the following: Farming & Fertilizer Domestication Pottery Masonry Carpentry Surgery & Medicine All rather broad and not very inspiring items, no? Taking a few steps up on Maslov's pyramid I'd say: Writing, Literature, Books, Novels, etc. Computers, NICs, routers, switches, TCP/IP, Cat-5, BIND, etc Telephones (due to job) and Mass Transit (no car for me... yet) --K |
