Xmarks closing

First Bloglines and now another favorite of mine is closing the doors: Xmarks (formerly Foxmarks).

I will miss both of them, but especially xmarks. I have been using xmarks almost every day. Very sad.

We really love Xmarks. It's great for synching bookmarks and passwords between FireFox, Chome and Safari. We would be willing to pay, but it sounds like it's too late.

I don't use it myself, but for those that do there is an update regarding Xmarks.

Thank you Xmarks users. You told the world it was simply unacceptable for our service to shut down and it worked.

Just noticed this today, but it's been official for nearly a week.

LastPass has acquired Xmarks. I really can't think of a better company to have done so. I think it's truly a win-win situation.
