Howdy Guys and Gals,
I'd just like to share my views on The Bat v2... It is TOTALLY AWESOME! IMAP is working perfectly and the new icons/a slight change in interface make it look even better.... If you haven't checked it out yet, I'd advise to ![]() http://www.ritlabs.com Cheers, Scott Last edited by scott2002 : 5 Sep 2003 at 10:00 AM. |

I'm a Foxmail user. How does the Bat compare with regards to multiple users and password protected accounts?

I don't think it has these features, I haven't had the need to password protect my account or have multiple users.....But it makes up against those features of Foxmail, with lots of other features...

The Bat!
Hello all,
Just installed The Bat! for the first time, and it looks great... for a client. It's offline synchronization seems to work great... One minor problem, especially with large folders, is that it doesn't show a progress bar for me...--K |

I just installed it and I'll give it a try.
I've never used Tha Bat before because it was a POP client, and I always use IMAP. But since it seems to support IMAP now... |

@Spin, You may want to change this over on your FAQ on how to use fastmail with The Bat "The Bat! is an excellent POP client, but its IMAP support is currently extremely limited."
It's not limited anymore and works VERY well ![]() Cheers, Scott |
