Safely Storing Email
My ISP has stopped providing an email service and has migrated users email to a subcontractor's servers so as to provide a replacement service. I will probably decide not to use this service and find a new one for future messaging.
I have many emails that have accumulated over a number of years. I want to be able to continue to search these emails for important information. I have too many emails to sort through and just save some. This would be impractical. How can I secure my past email on a local drive, either on my PC or on an external drive? I may close my connection with the subcontractor's servers at some time, particularly if they invoke a charge for providing an email service. I have a PC with Windows 11 and my email is an IMAP system. Any thoughts or ideas would be great! |

Thanks for your reply Avion.
I've just had a look at it via your link. It looks very good. Probably, just what I'm looking for. I'll download it (for free!) and have a go. Sendit. |
