I am a LONG time user of both mail.ru and VK.com.....and by my knowings it is NOT possible to set up the email from VK.com via Thunderbird or any other email client.(or maybe i am missing something...

I can still use Yandex (and mail.ru) extentions in Firefox. So I realy dont know whats the problem here. Yandex certainly is a very good search engine (and mailprovider).
